Yes, The Flower Pot can provide flower substitutions, depending upon availability. During high-order volume holidays, such as Mother's Day, we recommend placing your order as early as possible. Typically, the closer florists get to Mother's Day, the more orders we have and flower supplies quickly run out.

When should I schedule my flower delivery?
Place your orders early to beat the crowds! Select the flowers you love and set the delivery date in advance to ensure you can get your mother's favorite flowers. During Mother's Day, we receive a high volume of flower orders.
When you place an order too close to Mother's Day, you risk having to select a different product or make flower substitutions. This is due to flower supplies running low with many orders to fill. Waiting for supply trucks after our supplies have dwindled can also be unpredictable.

Will my flowers be delivered even if no one is home?
If you are sending flowers to your mother or to yourself and nobody's there we recommend that you provide additional delivery instructions during the online ordering process. The Flower Pot offers both store pickup and delivery. If you would prefer to pick up your Christmas order, just give us a call at (740) 277-7261 and let us know. If you would like your order delivered, you will be able to enter the address and additional delivery details during the online ordering process. Can I request a flower substitution in my Christmas arrangement?
At The Flower Pot, we would be happy to provide the flowers or color of flowers you would like. Please feel free to contact us (740) 277-7261 with further information regarding your request. We can discuss your options in regards to our flower and flower color availability. To secure your preferences or arrangement selection, we advise placing your order as early as possible. During the Christmas season, flower varieties may occasionally run out of stock, and we may have to wait for a delivery truck. If your flowers of choice are available, we would be glad to provide you with that personalization.
Will my flowers be delivered even if no one is home?
Before you place your order online, we recommend that you provide our delivery drivers with additional information if you are aware that you or the one receiving the flowers will not be present. You will be able to select a date of delivery that is best for you.
